The Landini fibre cement sheet is the only certified CSTB which achieves an impact resistence class of 900 joules (the standard is 600 joules). Generally the sheet reaches the desired thickness of 6,5 mm called for in EN 494. In this phase our production method differs from the others in that it produces sheets of 8 mm rather than 6,5 mm (about 15% more of raw material) then an additional in-line pressing is applied thus compressing the sheet from 8 to 6,5 mm. This operation makes the sheets denser and more compact and this means more resistant (15 years guarantee).
