The mission of the Application Development Network (ADN) is to support the teaching, learning and research of MU faculty, staff and students through:
The Applications Development Network is funded through Instructional Technology Fees (ITF). Therefore, as long as the application being developed directly impacts students, there is no additional fee for the development and support of the application.

The mission of the Application Development Network (ADN) is to support the teaching, learning and research of MU faculty, staff and students through:
- Rapid creation and deployment of new, small-scale applications
- Hosting, maintenance and enhancement of existing, small-scale applications that were developed outside of the Division of IT
- Consulting services for personnel in academic units across developing their own "in-house" applications
- Coordination of a network of IT professionals across campus
- Reliability — our computing and network infrastructure systems and applications are secure and designed/operated to ensure maximum uptime.
- Fiscal Responsibility — we use financial resources effectively.
- Service — we provide and support information technology products and services to help students, faculty, and staff achieve their goals.
- Innovation — we strive to provide creative solutions to state-of-the-art software applications and infrastructure.
- Accessibility — we ensure our facilities and on-line resources are accessible to persons with disabilities
