HUBBARD CLASSIC
High production - Fast growth

The Hubbard CLASSIC is a combination of the optimal balance between reproductive and broiler performance in a standard breeder.

Suitable for use in a wide range of management or environmental conditions, the Hubbard CLASSIC Breeder Package with its world famous Hubbard CLASSIC Male line has been selected for its ease of management, fertility and proven ability to perform in hot and/or tropical climates just as well as the more temperate climates.

The Hubbard CLASSIC Broiler is fast growing which results in low live cost, quick to market and therefore the maximum throughput of broilers per site per year.

It is possible to use the broilers over a wide bodyweight range starting at lighter bodyweights from 1.2 - 1.8 kg / 2.6 - 4.0 lbs. It is ideally suited for markets where live and whole dressed birds are sold. If needed the broiler can also be grown for the higher weight whole bird markets (2.2 - 2.4 kg / 3.8 - 4.3 lbs). In hot or tropical climates the Hubbard CLASSIC Broiler is recognized for its ability to maintain its appetite thus allowing it to maintain growth rates even when lower density feeds are used.

Oliver Hubbard's graduation from the New Hampshire Agriculture College in 1921 can be seen as the beginning of Hubbard in the commercial poultry business. From 1921 up to the acquisition by Merck in 1974, Hubbard has always been a family company. In 1997 Hubbard merged with the ISA-group from France, purely focusing on broiler breeding as from 2003.
