HUBBARD H1
Optimum Balance - Breeder through Processing
The Hubbard H1 breeder package is designed to produce the maximum saleable meat of any broiler breeder available on the market today. It is the optimum balance from breeder through processing.
The Hubbard H1 produces large number of hatching eggs and chicks through the excellent reproductive traits. The Hubbard H1 targets the "heavy weight" market (>6 lbs / 2.7 kg live weight for the big bird, de-bone and large whole bird markets), as well as the "medium weight" market (5 lbs / 2.2 kg live weight for the tray pack and cut up markets). The Hubbard H1 broiler is feather sexable. Females can be grown separately, allowing the more efficient males to be grown to heavier weights.

Hubbard has played, and will continue to play, an important and vital role in this great industry
Oliver Hubbard's graduation from the New Hampshire Agriculture College in 1921 can be seen as the beginning of Hubbard in the commercial poultry business. From 1921 up to the acquisition by Merck in 1974, Hubbard has always been a family company. In 1997 Hubbard merged with the ISA-group from France, purely focusing on broiler breeding as from 2003. Since the French company Groupe Grimaud took over Hubbard from Merial in 2005 Hubbard is again part of a family company, which is the 2nd largest multi-species animal breeding company in...
