What is a premix?
Premixes cover the basic needs of animals in vitamins and dietary minerals. They may also contain amino acids and nutritional additives. Premixes are incorporated in complete feeds, making up between 0.5% and 1% of the total
Firm-services activity:
Firm-services activity experts provide industrial and on-farm feed producers with advice and supply them with premixes and nutritional specialties. The offer includes formulation, nutritional advice, zootechnical and hygiene monitoring at livestock farms, the design of special feed programmes, operational marketing support, raw material and finished product analysis, regular quality control follow-up and report, and diagnoses and recommendations in production technology.
In France the service-company business relies on two leading entities with recognised expertise: Inzo° and SFPS, and their subsidiaries. Inzo° and SFPS together constitute the French number one in premixes, breeder minerals, licking buckets and nutritional specialties.
Inzo°, founded in 1953, and its French subsidiaries Lactina, Nutrilac and CCMA, works with feed producing cooperatives. SFPS works with industrial and on-farm feed producers. Each of the group’s service companies works completely independently to meet the specific needs of its customers.
The company’s main international sites are located in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Hungary, Romania, the Czech Republic, South Africa, Brazil and China.
Strong international presence:
The premix business is ensured internationally by a number of subsidiaries that bring InVivo Animal Nutrition and Health a strong network of plants in Italy (Filozoo), Spain (Setna), Portugal (INVIVONSA Portugal, SA ), Romania (Guyomarc’h Romania and GANA), Hungary (Vitafort), Brazil (Vitagri), China (Evialis Shandong), South Africa (Coprex) and India (Evialis India), together with sales offices in Myanmar (Guyomarc’h Fortune Ltd) and the Czech Republic (Guyokrma).
InVivo Animal Nutrition and Health exports are handled by a network of distributors in over 50 countries.
The premix activity overall represents a total volume of 22 million tonnes of feed, produced using InVivo Animal Nutrition and Health premixes.
